The Benefits of Deep Nature Connection

Exploring one's true nature through renewed connection with the natural world comes with many benefits. Today, there is a growing trend of people living far removed from the Earth. Along with this "nature-disconnect" comes a symptomology which includes emotional and spiritual well-being issues, as well as, mental health and physical health issues, cultural issues, and conservation issues. However the "re-greening" process counters those issues by rewiring neural pathways through an increased sense of connection, confidence, and hightened intuition. Also, enhanced sensitivity, deeper understanding, improved judgment and broader empathy - generating deeper internal answers. Along with this healing comes greater tolerance, natural spontaneity, renewed childlike wonder, renewed social connections, greater compassion, lower blood pressure, and alleviation of disease, including anxiety and depression.

The effects of rebridging gaps with nature, are gained by maximizing potential through brain-patterning. An unlearning and relearning of eon-old skills that have been passed down to us in modern times from the shadows of history. Formulas that can reshape one's entire outlook on life through experiential education. A healthier paradigm that can lead us as a species into the future here on Earth in a much more dynamic and sustainable way. A regathering of the collective primal instinct.

The Nature Shrine
A great way to bring Nature into your home for the purposes of study/reference, reverence, aesthetics, etc., is the nature shrine - a display featuring artifacts from the woods that you collect during your wanderings, such as skulls and bones, antlers, cones, feathers, scats, track casts, nests, primitive tools, rocks, art, and so on, as well as your journal. You can tag the pieces with labels and accompanying stories. Each one is unique. Be creative.
